Annual Antiquarian Book Sales

 

This mammoth sale is conducted online and brings collections of antiquarian and modern collectable volumes held in private collections, in many instances for the first time to the market.

 

On-site Auctions

Moving the contents of a deceased estate from the property to a saleroom may not, as a result, be the most effective way of achieving a complete disposal and could become a costly exercise. Yet Beneficiaries will still need help with contents disposal, especially when they may live at some considerable distance from the property itself.

Stevens Auctioneers offer a fresh approach, with enough flexibility to specialise in providing an online bidding solution to auction all property contents in-situ. We catalogue and photograph all lots, provide a virtual video tour and operate a diarised appointment system for both viewing and post-sale collections. We also operate a full shipping and delivery service if collections cannot be achieved, post-sale. This means the property is left cleared and clean, ready for resale as soon as possible.

We believe this is a service of particular interest to Solicitors for Probate, as well as Executors and beneficiaries of deceased estates and whilst this has always been available for larger estates, the online approach now opens up this facility to much smaller properties previously thought to be too small to hold effective sales on-site.
