Buying through Stevens Auctioneers

A different approach.

You will have noticed that the auction world has changed thanks to Covid-19. and more auctions are now conducted online to either replace, or to coincide with in-person sales.

Lockdowns and restrictions have made matters difficult but we still want to put on the best auction experience we can and ask for your assistance to do so.

Stevens Auctioneers do not have static business premises at this time as we operate all sales on the actual premises of where the lots are held.

That means that ALL bids are taken through the online auction platform and all buyer registrations will be completed through that medium also.

You will have the opportunity to leave automatic bids if you are unable to monitor the sale but as the auction will be on a timed basis,

Notes:

  1. Viewing will be on designated days at the location of the estate sale.

  2. Additionally, up to six photographs of each lot will be placed on the online auction platform (and can supply others or a viewing video by email if required.) We can also give verbal condition assessments by telephone up to 48 hours before the auction starts.

  3. Collection of lots will also be directly from the location of the estate sale. Please note all purchases must be collected no later that 3 working days after the sale has been completed.

  4. All payments must be made by bank transfer prior to collection or on the day of collection. Card payments only will be accepted in person.

  5. We offer a full in-house shipping service for all lots that can be posted (noted in each lot description). Our charges (inclusive of postage and secure packaging) can be viewed by clicking on the button below.
